Cairns have served, for centuries, as proof that other humans have walked the path before us, proof that we are not alone. Cairns are often created as directional markers pointing to safety, guiding the way home. They mark paths nodding in friendship to fellow travelers. That's what The FIRST Stone Mission Cairn Project is all about. Building a FIRST Stone cairn is absolute proof that other humans are walking the path Jesus paved in John 8.
The FIRST Stone Mission Cairn Project is the brainchild of our Mission's founder: "I was thinking about the crowd with Jesus on that day in John 8. What if those people had not just dropped their stones? What if they had created an intentional pile of stones, what if they had created a cairn? That would have been a message for all the world to see. I imagined Christians everywhere creating FIRST Stone Cairns, intentional beacons to angels and lost souls. I imagined everyone understanding just how powerful the message of the FIRST Stone is, was, and could be."

NOTE: You absolutely do not have to buy engraved stones to join us on this Mission. Utilize your Sharpees. Teach the lesson anywhere you find two or three gathered together in Jesus' name. Bring the lesson home.
What happens when you lay down your FIRST Stones?
Read the stones to the left. That's what you find when you lay down FIRST Stones. You find Blessings, Miracles, Hope, Peace, Love, Joy. You find it all in your prayers, even in silent prayer. When your heart knows that your actions are speaking louder than your words, you'll understand what Jesus meant by, "I am the light of the world."

To join in the FSM Cairn Project all you have to do is create your own personal FIRST Stone pile. It only takes one stone to make a pile as long as you lay it down and know you mean it. It's all about your intent, your understanding that it is possible to lay down every FIRST Stone you've ever held. It is possible to lay them down with peace.
